Due to unavoidable variation in monitor calibrations, monitor age, native gamma settings and mismatched color profiles, viewing backdrop colors on monitors is rarely perfect. The closest
you get is with a Macintosh using Explorer with ColorSync turned ON viewing images with embedded Color Profiles. It's a tall order.
